A little bit about myself I am very excited about the age of the internet. The fact that ordinary people can use the internet is very exciting. In the old days, only some choosen and lucky people had the opportunity to publish their own work and send messages to the public. Because it is very difficult to publish a book through publishers. First, the publisher has a limited budget to publish books. Second, your work must be chosen. And then you have to sell a large number of books to make the process profitable. I think it is very exciting to have the opportunity to exhibit my art works on the web. I can display my art work and directly reach the audience that likes my work. Thus, I hope to use this medium to exhibit my work and express my thoughts. My hobbies and interests I am Kaoru Iroha, well this is not my birth name, it's my artisic name. Where is this name from? Japan...so I am Japanese. I mention this because maybe you are intersted in the derivation of the name. My hobbies are travel, literature, history and the internet. I've enjoyed reading ever since I was a very little girl. It helps me express my sensitivities and feelings. As a little girl I was full of curiocity, and had an adverturous mind. I also like to and throughout travel foreign coutries. I've traveled France, Spain, Italy, Germany, USA, China, Taiwan, etc. I hope to travel everywhere in the world while I am alive. When I travel, my main interest is to think about and appriciate the cultural and historical background of the country and people, remembering scenes from movies and novels, and feeling and expericence the local peoples' lives. I'm also interested in our environment. People can express their feeling and opinions by words. But, plants and animals are very weak against human activity. I think human beings have the responsibility to consider the environment and live in balance with nature on this earth. I wish to do something for this interest soon. But, I have not yet decided what... well, I have to find someway to make a positive impact soon .
